In order to protect the sensitive Private Health Information in Client Portal, Medcor has enabled Multi Factor Authentication (MFA). Multi Factor Authentication requires that you approve your login on a second device. There are three methods for Multi Factor Authentication.
- Logging in with Microsoft 365. If your company uses Microsoft 365, you can use your Microsoft 365 credentials to sign into Medcor's Client Portal. You can learn more in our article Signing into Client Portal with Microsoft 365 credentials.
- Installing an Authenticator App. You can install an authenticator app made by either Google or Microsoft in order to use Multi Factor Authentication. You can learn more in our article How to set up Client Portal Multi Factor Authentication with an Authenticator App.
- Receiving a text message. You can receive a text in order to use Multi Factor Authentication. You can learn more in our article How to set up Multi Factor Authentication for Client Portal using Text.
- Installing an Authenticator App on your desktop/laptop computer. If you do not have access to a mobile device while working you can install the WinAuth App on your desktop/laptop computer.
