Messages in your inbox will be available for 60 days. 60 days after receiving the messages, they will be moved to your Archive folder.

When messages are moved to the Archive folder after 60 days attachments will be hidden.
Why are attachments hidden when a message is moved to the Archive folder?
Many attachments contain Protected Health Information (PHI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Medcor takes security and the protection of these types of sensitive information seriously. This measure helps safeguard sensitive information and maintains the integrity of your communications.
How do I know if an attachment is hidden?
When viewing the list of messages, the paperclip icon for a message with a hidden attachment will show with a line through it.
If you are viewing a message you will see "Archived" in the attachments list.
Is there a way to keep an attachment for longer than 60 days?
Yes. You can move a message to your Saved folder. Once a message is in the Saved folder the attachment will be available for one year from when the message was sent.
Is there a way to keep an attachment for longer than one year?
No. The Saved folder will keep the attachment for only one year. If you need to keep an attachment for longer than a year, then you will need to download it and handle in accordance to your company's data policy for PHI or PII.
How do I access a hidden attachment?
If an attachment has already been hidden it is recommended that you contact the original sender and ask that they send the attachment to you in a new Secure Message.
